isn’t my domain (ok, maybe rarely). I usually plan everything half year in advance.
But sometimes the fate decides for me and the magic happens effortlessly.
One hour in tiny Daliowa Island on Wroclaw river Odra, next to the new Nawa sculpture by Oskar Zieta, plus suprisingly sunny November afternoon and talented photographer Piotr Karolczak – and look what came out.
They say ‘nothing haunts us like the things we didn’t buy’ and in this case I couldn’t agree more. I bought this coat-dress in Milan back in 2015. It was pre-Fall collection just featured in Sportmax boutique and although it was Summer in full swing (hot as it can be hot in Italy) I immediatelly pictured myself in this bright piece during darker months. The dress was displayed with a rope-like leather belt, tied assymetrically, but I decided to skip it. I thought: I have so many belts, something will be suitable.
But imagine – it haven’t. Of course in my minds only, because any black belt goes well with this piece. But to summ up the fate on this outfit I need to admit I have no idea which brand is the pictured belt with faux pearls. Literally no-name.
The only new thing I’m wearing in this shot is black high neck bodysuit from Intimissimi. It’s so versatile piece of clothing I wear it all the time – even bought another to have one clean and fresh anytime I don’t have idea for sophisticated layered look. It goes with anything – nale skirts (long and short), jeans, trousers, dresses (remember my Paris outfit?), coats and jackets. Thank you Intimissimi!
If you follow my Instagram account you’re probably aware of the fact I love Chanel brooches, especially the feminist one. It’s trully me – feminist but feminine.
If you live or visit Wroclaw you may look for some instagrammable places. Sure – the Old Town and Ostrów Tumski are beautiful, but so crowded it’s hard to take a nice picture there (unless you go there very early morning – even before old ladies running to the church).
But Daliowa Island (Wyspa Daliowa) in the very center of the city is usually empty and serene. Not only the Nawa sculpture designed by renowned Oskar Zieta is picturesque, but all landscape of this piece of land over Odra river looks like a ready-to-photograph fashion set.
