Sea beauty

One of the advantages I owe to the mindulness training is being able to spot tiny little manifestations of beauty, and moreover – to appreciate them. ⠀

Regarding my blog activity I’m in a constant hunt for alluring venues to play my outfit ideas with, and it turns out there are plenty of them.

Check out one of them – ever since I’ve noticed this new Shrimp House location I knew what I would wear to visit it.

Call me crazy but yeah – I like when things match, even when it comes to food (I love shrimps, though, so it wasn’t only an esthetic pursuit).

Artsy coat

The story of this coat is quite funny: I spotted it first at Moda Operandi – a platform for preordering new designs before they reach the regular market. I instantly fell in love with the whole collection of the designer I didn’t know before: Alena Akhmadulina. Of course it was expensive as hell, so I decided to wait.

Luckily it was still available at  the designer website during sales, so after waiting over a month for my shippment from the East, paying unexpected duties and taxes (yep, always check it beforehand when ordering from out of your taxation market), I finally put my hands on it!

The only downfall – I keep getting brand updates in Russian ever since. ⠀

Look at that: the texture and color of this coat reminds me of Hokusai waves made of ripped denim, glitter pumps sparkle like sand in Summer sun, and the bright body suit resembles crustacea’s shell. ⠀

Would there be a better outfit to accompany my plate of chilli shrimps??

Another fun fact of shooting in this location: we arrived there on Saturday – as it turned out – an hour before opening. It made me almost cry, because we’ve had ONLY this hour to do the session. Luckilly the nicest manager agreed to let us in under one condtion: the music has to be on. Loud. And because it was The Star is Born soundtrack it felt like partying in the middle of the day!

Why this gesture? The kitchen was still closed, so I thought of adding a gif of a shrimp when posting on Instagram.

Neons are my obsession lately.

As you probably know already, I’m a girly one. I love feminine accessories, I add sparkle everywhere I can, even to my casual outfits.
Gold glitter couldn’t harm any look, right?

I'm Bogusia - founder of ShopTrotter and Age_Concept Blog I kind of like fashion - meaning: I like to look good, but spending too much time shopping is something that makes me feel overwhelmed. Besides of that - I have a walk-in closet full of wonderful stuff that I use once in 1-2 years... I know, it's outreagous! So I decided to start the Instagram account and try to reuse pieces I own for a long time, without compromising on fashion and style. My new motto is to re-create and re-cycle, instead of buying new stuff over and over. Now I shop consciously - buying only the items that complement my other clothes.
